Strategic Supremacy

White Paper: Strategic SupremacyIn 2001, Professor Richard D'Aveni, Professor of Strategic Management at Dartmouth's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, introduced the concept of Strategic Supremacy, with ideas like 'sphere of influence', 'competitive pressure', 'competitive configuration' and 'industries as power systems'.

These concepts do not deny or replace existing strategic concepts like core competencies, portfolio strategy or customer orientation.
