Mark Wisbrun
Consultant
My background

Throughout my studies in international business administration, my goal was to gather as much ‘real life’ business experience as possible. After an exchange period in the United States and France and internships at global corporations in Electronics and Telecom, I graduated at Erasmus University focusing on supply management. Immediately after, I started as a Junior Consultant at Nolan, Norton & Co..

My interests

As a university graduate it was difficult to pinpoint a specific industry to work in, although my preference was to work for product related businesses over pure service organizations.
I have worked on projects varying from pure strategy and new business development to more execution driven programs such as post merger integrations.
What I like about this variety is that I get the chance to develop both my analytical- and social/management skills.

Working at Nolan, Norton & Co.

Consultancy is in my view one of the best ways to jump-start your career after university. In only two years at NNC, I got the chance to work for different companies, in different industries, facing different problems. Among colleagues there is a strong will to succeed which creates a high energy environment. But most importantly, there is always time left for some fun, like drinks, sports or just a silly joke…

Looking at the future

First of all there are still so many clients for me to explore, to broaden my industry knowledge. Secondly, my effort will be in creating more in-depth knowledge on current business themes, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). And, as member of the CSR team, there is a true challenge in convincing clients as well as colleagues to move towards a more sustainable future.
