Our consultants
![]() Senior Consultant During my studies in Industrial Engineering and Management Science, specialising in information technology, I learned how exciting it is to design an approach for solving a particular problem and then come up with a way to implement that approach. Because I wanted to continue on that path after graduating from university, I started working in consulting, and joined a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services. I was drawn to Nolan, Norton & Co. (NNC) because of its roots in corporate IT, current strategy and execution spectrum, the academic impulse given through the Nolan Norton Institute and the both challenging and relaxed atmosphere of the firm. My interests My main interest is the relevance of information technology for organisations (why have it?) and how to make it a success. I feel that the current business-IT paradigm has led to a business-IT dichotomy that inhibits the realisation of value to its full potential. Maybe it is time for a shift in the strategic thinking on information technology.
Working at Nolan, Norton & Co. Working at NNC means working with the client on high impact cases in small consulting teams. I remember one of my first projects where we helped design and execute an approach for IT spending transparency and control in several of our clients business divisions. I really enjoyed the mutual learning that happened during our sessions with the client (also, the whole thing was a lot of hard work and we loved doing it). Nice personal detail: it was only my third working day here at NNC when the whole company was flown to Boston to celebrate our 20th anniversary and meet with Richard Nolan and David Norton at Harvard. Truly amazing! It would be great to continue to help organisations resolve their strategic issues around the application of information technology. |
