Manager

In 2000 I completed my study Industrial Engineering and Management Science at the Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in Marketing and Procurement Management. As a first job I started working as a commercial product manager at KPN. This position, with profit and loss responsibility, gave me an ideal opportunity to get involved in all aspects of a large company. I have broadened this experience with two more positions in the marketing & sales field, before joining Nolan, Norton & Co. in 2006.

My interests

One of my main reasons for joining Nolan, Norton & Co. was the opportunity to work on a broad variety of topics within different industries. So far I have been working on a broad range of challenging projects, which makes it still very difficult for me to pinpoint certain areas of main interests. However, last year I have been program manager of a post merger integration project and it was really a great experience to realize such a complex project within strict deadlines. This is certainly the kind of project I hope to encounter more often.

Working at Nolan, Norton & Co.

While working for KPN, I have participated in projects run by different consultancy firms. Nolan, Norton & Co. distinguished itself from the others by its down to earth and proactive approach, which was the main reason for me to pursue a position within this specific firm. So far, my high expectations have been met, both in terms of the high quality standards applied to the work delivered and in the stimulating way of co-working with colleagues.

Looking at the future

After leaving the Telecom industry, I have been working on projects in the Insurance and Electronics industries. Still, Telecom is my main industry of interest. For this reason, I hope to be able to do more projects in this area and by doing so, contribute to the growth of the Telecom team within Nolan, Norton & Co.
