The perspective of Nolan, Norton & Co.

The increase of environmental awareness, increasing scarcity of resources and the demand for transparency of operations has led to an increasing popularity of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). CSR is an approach whereby a company considers the interests of all stakeholders both within the organisation and in society and applies those interests while developing its strategy and during execution. In the past years CSR has become a priority for Nolan, Norton & Co. and many of her customers. Nolan, Norton & Co. is committed to reducing her own and her customers environmental footprint and operates 100% climate neutral.

Our objectives and goals

  • In 2008 NNC has set the objective to operate 100% climate neutral. In 2010 reducing our footprint by 25% is our highest priority. This will be achieved by actively steering on car fleet, energy, paper and toner and catering and facilities. Our remaining CO2-emission is fully compensated with Gold Standard credits.
  • The most important drivers for achieving our goal are measuring our performance and decreasing our consumption. I.e. our consultants only drive cars with green labels, are stimulated to use public transport and get quarterly results of their personal footprint.

CSR and value creation

We believe CSR offers organisations various opportunities, not only to differentiate themselves from competitors but also for reducing costs.
